National Spelling Bee Regional Level Competition 2/25/12 Rancho competed among the best 80 schools in the LA County in the National Scripps Spelling Bee, at the regional level.

Rancho Spelling Bee 2012 Competition- 1/12/12 Thursday, January 12th, Rancho Santa Gertrudes hosted a school-wide Spelling Bee Day. Paola Ruiz, fifth grader, won the bee by spelling the championship word "stratosphere".
