P.I.H Visit
On March 8th, 2014, PIH doctors visited Rancho Santa Gertrudes Elementary School. The assembly was for the 1st, 3rd and 5th graders, and was given to promote staying and getting fit. At first, the doctors asked what the students do for fun. Some were active activities, and some were not. Students listed many activities. In one column the students had to put active activities, such as: soccer, football, and swimming. In another column they had to put inactive activities like: watching TV, playing video games, and going on the computer. The students did great at the assembly because they were attentive listeners and active participants. Rancho students are appreciative that the doctors came and gave students great knowledge on how to be healthy.
