On February 21st, Rancho Santa Gertrudes was lucky to have the Los Angeles Transporter come onto campus. The Transporter is a 54-foot truck, which is basically a museum on wheels. The transporter explained to students how goods are exported and transported to us. This on campus field trip, was put together by Mrs. Ayala, and her Student Council Students. Alexa, student council president and the vice- president, and Carina Martinez the Student Council Vice President, came to each classroom when it was time for students to get a chance to explore the transporter. This transporter came to us from the Port of Los Angeles. The assistants informed us how clothes, toys, etc. are transported from the place they were created to our local stores. We thank Mrs. Ayala and Student Council for taking the time to organize this amazing educational event.
