On Saturday February 8, 2014 Rancho competed amongst the very best spellers in all of Los Angeles County. Quayin Wong, 6th grade student, represented Rancho in the regional county level of competition of the National Scripps Spelling Bee. The event took place at Walter Reed Middle School Auditorium located in the city of North Hollywood, California. He competed against 108 schools. After three hours of grueling competition, Quayin was eliminated, placing him in the 23rd spot of all competitors!! Amazing job Quayin, we are very proud of you!
