On October 23rd the red ribbon parade took place in the city of Santa Fe Springs. Our sixth grade students participated in this amazing event. Rancho students got to walk from Lake Center, to Rancho. The children were shouting “Say no to drugs!” The students wore red to support Red Ribbon day. Many different schools such as, Jersey, Lake Center, Lake View, Lakeland, and Santa Fe High School also participated in this drug free event. Since Mrs. Monica Quiroz was awarded teacher of the year she got to be part of this fun event.
