On September 29, 2011 Walmart Super Store 2948 located in the city of Santa Fe Springs made a donation of several boxes of instructional supplies to Rancho Santa Gertrudes. Representing Walmart Super Store was Mickie S. Olivarez, Human Resources Community Coordinator and Irene Iglesias, Training Coordinator. Receiving the donation on behalf of Rancho Elementary School was Parent Teacher Committee President Mrs. Wong, Vice-President Ms. Herrera and Treasurer Mrs. Gonzalez.
